GETTING HERE

DRIVING TO THE THEATRE

Adelaide Festival Centre is located on the western side of King William Road, approximately 200 metres north of the North Terrace intersection. It’s part of the Riverbank precinct, adjacent to Elder Park & Festival Plaza.

  • The Festival Centre includes Festival Theatre, the adjoining Banquet Room, and The Star: Kitchen and Bar, located in the building located closest to King William Road.
  • Dunstan Playhouse, Space Theatre and Artspace are in the second building, located further down the riverbank on Festival Drive.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Public transport is a great way to visit Adelaide Festival Centre, the Adelaide Railway Station is right next door, and the tram stops in front of the train station on North Terrace and in front of Festival Theatre on King William Rd.

Most of these options only require a very short walk. Visit Adelaide Metro to plan your journey.

Take advantage of the free City Connector bus, offering a hop-on and hop-off service to the city and North Adelaide linking popular city attractions, shopping, dining and key destinations. Bus route 98A and 98C connect North Adelaide with the city, and 99A and 99C connect the inner-city. Services operate every 15 minutes on weekdays and every 30 minutes on weekends.
