Beauty and the Beast the Musical is excited to be partnering with Melbourne’s most magical patisserie, Madeleine De Proust, throughout the Melbourne Season! Choose from the ‘Beauty is Found Within’ trio box or ‘Enchanted Rose Madeline’ (or both), and you’ll be feeling the magic in no time.
For this special collaboration, Hyoju Park and Rong Yao Soh, Co-Founders of Madeleine De Proust, have created four madeleines inspired by Beauty and the Beast.
A citrus madeleine with a delicate honey glaze, paired with vanilla milk buttercream and coated in yellow white chocolate. Finished with a red rose chocolate garnish, this madeleine embodies the grace and beauty of Belle herself.
A gluten-free chocolate madeleine, filled with hazelnut buttercream and hazelnut praline. Encased in blue velvet milk chocolate and adorned with a gold rose chocolate garnish, this treat reflects the bold and regal nature of the Beast.
A brown butter and leatherwood honey madeleine, draped in a red velvet chocolate glaze and crowned with a golden milk chocolate heart. This creation symbolizes the transformative power of love, as seen in the story of Beauty and the Beast.
A gluten-free chocolate madeleine, featuring a satisfying pistachio crunch, layered with the delicate flavours of rose and strawberry jelly. Topped with a smooth vanilla whipped ganache and dipped in a thin layer of white chocolate, this madeleine captures the enchanting essence of the iconic rose from Beauty and the Beast.

The name “Madeleine De Proust” is a homage to Marcel Proust’s famous madeleine moment—a symbol of how a simple taste can evoke powerful memories and emotions. For us, our madeleines are more than just pastries; they are carriers of stories, experiences, and a deep-seated passion for our craft. This sense of magic and nostalgia naturally connected with our love for Disney, a world where dreams come true and magic feels real.

Our love for musicals and Disney has been a constant source of joy and inspiration. The Lion King was the first big musical we watched, and it left an indelible mark on us.
